Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has promised that the team will do everything possible to make Ghana proud at the 2026 FIFA Tournament.
Speaking at Ghana’s official send-off ceremony before the squad’s departure for Canada, he highlighted the weight of responsibility that comes with representing the country at the World Cup and urged supporters to continue backing the team throughout the competition.
“We have three massive games for us, and we want to make you guys proud and want to make Ghana proud. Obviously it’s not going to be easy, but with your prayers and your support, hopefully we’ll be successful. We want to thank everyone for your support and keep on praying for us because we’re here to make history.”
