Actor and comedian Lil Win has urged Ghanaians to reject electoral violence and resist attempts by politicians to lure them into wrongdoing during elections.
Speaking in an interview in Cape Coast, Lil Win highlighted the dangers of political violence. He warned,
“If you get injured or lose a limb, the politician you fought for won’t do anything meaningful for you. Even if they give you money, it won’t replace a lost leg, arm, or eyesight.”
He urged voters to choose peace over political differences.
“Cast your vote, go home peacefully, and pray for God’s will to prevail,” he said. “Don’t take money to fight for politicians or engage in electoral fraud.”
