Ga Mantse Calls For Unity, And Transparency Ahead Of Elections

The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has called for peace, unity, and transparency as Ghana prepares for its upcoming elections.

Addressing a gathering, he urged the Ga Traditional Council to lead efforts in promoting unity within the Ga State and encouraged the nation to prioritise stability during this crucial period.

The King praised Ghana’s democratic progress and highlighted the country’s ability to hold peaceful elections as a positive example for Africa.

“Ghana has continuously shown that democracy and peace are achievable in Africa. The success of elections depends on the collective efforts of all Ghanaians, regardless of the outcomes.We must continue to lead by example,” he added,

Further, he also called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to uphold transparency throughout the election process.

“The EC must act with the highest integrity to ensure that every Ghanaian trusts the results and believes their vote truly matters,” he stated.

The King made these remarks during a courtesy visit from presidential aspirants.
