The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has announced that the Second Meeting of Parliament will begin on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
In a notice issued from the Office of the Speaker in Accra on Monday, May 4, 2026, he stated that the new meeting will allow Parliament to continue deliberations on national legislative business and other matters of public interest.
The speaker made the announcement in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
