The family of Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has announced that her funeral rites will take place in both the United States and Ghana, with the ceremonies beginning in the U.S. before concluding in her home country.
According to the family , close relatives and members of the diaspora community will gather in Laurel, Maryland, on August 1, 2026, for the first ceremony and initial funeral rites.
While the final phase will take place in Ghana on August 7, 2026, bringing together extended family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to observe the traditional concluding ceremonies.
Consequently, the family emphasised that the Ghana event will honour her memory in accordance with local customs.
