President Donald Trump announced that he will permanently pause migration from all Third World countries following the death of a National Guard member involved in a recent shooting.
During a press briefing, he said he has hardened his administration’s immigration stance, thoughts he did not specify which countries the policy would cover.
In addition, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said authorities have identified the suspected shooter as an Afghan national,, following prosecutors upgrading the original assault charges to first-degree murder and expect to file additional counts.
Trump issued the renewed pledge hours after confirming that one of the two West Virginia National Guard members shot on Wednesday, November 28, had died.
