The Ghana Education Service (GES) has warned Senior High School students to stop using social media irresponsibly, citing the growing trend of inappropriate online behaviour among students.
Speaking at a forum on October 19, 2025, the Central Regional Director of Education, Dr. Juliet Duffie Otameh, urged students to act responsibly and think carefully about the content they share online.
“Social media posts can have long-term effects on your reputation and opportunities. Before you post anything about yourself, ask whether you will be proud of it tomorrow,”
