Ghanaian gospel musician Grace Ashly has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to retain Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars, insisting that consistency and stability are vital for the team’s success at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In an interview, Grace Ashly stated that instead of calling for Addo’s dismissal, football authorities should encourage and provide him with the necessary technical support to strengthen the team.
“As for Coach Addo, we don’t have to touch him. If there’s something wrong with his performance, they should gather people, correct him, and talk to him. That’s what we did with Akwasi Appiah,Ghanaians always want to drop our own, and I don’t think it’s right. The young shall grow,” she added, stressing that the current players only need time and support to perform at their best. She said.
