The Minister for the Interior, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, has disclosed that over 105,000 applicants have qualified for recruitment, but only 5,000 positions are available for final enlistment.
Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, March 10, Mr. Muntaka explained that the recruitment examinations had a pass mark of 65, set to limit the number of candidates moving on to the medical stage.
“Currently, we have 105,000 candidates who have qualified for medicals, but we can only admit 5,000 after this stage. This limited intake means only a small fraction will ultimately join the various security agencies this year,” he said.
