The five presidential aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have signed a peace pact to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process ahead of the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
Speaking at the event, party executives urged the aspirants to place the collective interest of the NPP above personal ambitions and called for unity, stressing that the party is bigger than any individual or faction.
The signing ceremony took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, where all five aspirants appended their signatures to the pact.
