On Saturday 20th September 2025, Living Streams International’s Women’s Ministry, The CREW hosted its inaugural CREW High Tea Party at the church grounds in Tse Addo, under the theme “Connection and Purpose”.
President of the Complete, Renewed, Equipped Women, Rev. Dr. Mrs. Davina Markwei, led the event and delivered the keynote address.
In her speech, she said, “We are not just here to grow our relationship with God. There is power in unity. We are to befriend, welcome, and make space at the table for those God is calling.”
Furthermore, Rev. Dr. Mrs. Davina Markwei emphasised that the Christian journey extends beyond personal salvation to cultivating strong relationships and fostering a supportive spiritual community.
“The High Tea Party launches a broader movement aimed at promoting intentional evangelism, mentorship, spiritual development of women and strengthened bonds among women within the church and beyond.”
Additionally, the event combined elegance, faith, and sisterhood, as the organisers served a light breakfast, presented spirited musical performances, led prayer sessions, and facilitated interactive icebreaker activities, setting a promising precedent for future gatherings.
