Ghanaian Highlife singer Fameye has revealed that he spent over $15,000 on his performance at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
In an interview, Fameye disclosed that they included expenses for costumes, set design, and other logistics in a formal budget, which the TGMA organisers endorsed.
However, despite the heavy investment and preparation, technical issues on the night affected the outcome.
“Many people eulogize the act, but I personally wasn’t content. My band said we did well, but I felt it could have been much better. If not for the setbacks, I believe I would have been the standout performer that night,” he said.
