The Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Santana, has announced that model Hamamat Montia and award-winning musician Wiyaala will serve as tourism ambassadors to promote Ghana’s culture and local products globally.
Speaking in an interview monitored by YADTV, Abeiku Santana explained that the Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Dzifa Gomashie, has engaged the two personalities as part of a broader effort to strengthen Ghana’s tourism brand.
“Hamamat Montia will champion shea butter as a tourism ambassador, while Wiyaala will lead the promotion of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.”
The initiative is part of a wider strategy by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ghana Tourism Authority to use influential Ghanaian figures to promote local industries, boost destination branding, and showcase Ghana’s cultural identity to the global audience.
