Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the country’s embassy in Iran will officially reopen on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, following a three-month suspension.
Mr. Ablakwa spoke at the government’s accountability forum in Accra on Monday, September 15, and confirmed that officials have taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of embassy personnel.
“I can confirm that after three months of closure, our embassy in Iran will reopen fully tomorrow, September 16, 2025. Comprehensive safety measures are now in place to protect our diplomatic staff,” he said.
