The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has allegedly picked up Kofi Akpaloo, the presidential candidate and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG).
According to Citinews, the family confirmed EOCO operatives took Mr Akpaloo from his home in Kumasi, and his current whereabouts remain unknown. However, reasons remain unclear.
EOCO has not yet released an official statement, leaving the circumstances surrounding the arrest uncertain.
