The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has assured that the Ghana national football team is ready to take on any challenge as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, during the launch of the Black Stars’ fundraising campaign at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City on Friday, March 20.

In his address, he stated:
“Today, we are very confident that coach Otto Addo has built the intangible assets that will make Ghana proud. We will go into this tournament with our chest up, ready to fight for the strip and ready to change our story. We fear no foe and believe me; Ghana football will speak.”

As part of their preparations, the Black Stars will play two key friendlies, taking on the Austria national football team in Vienna on March 27 before facing the Germany national football team in Stuttgart on March 30.

Thereafter, the Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17, face England on June 23, and conclude the group stage against Croatia on June 27. Their preparations will wrap up with additional friendlies against the Mexico national football team in May and the Wales national football team in June.
