The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, has filed a GHS 10 million defamation lawsuit against media personality Afia Schwarzenegger, also known as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa.
In a Statement of Claim filed at the Accra High Court and sighted by Citi News on Wednesday, July 23, Gyamfi, through his lawyers Sustineri Attorneys PRUC, is seeking several reliefs, including a declaration that comments made by the defendant in a TikTok video are defamatory, general and exemplary damages, and a perpetual injunction to prevent her from making further defamatory statements.
